A 2001 1kg Silver Snake coin with 0.02 carat diamond eye, as produced by the Perth Mint. This coin marks the Year of the Snake, as part of the mint's first lunar series (1999 - 2010).

This coin is made to Brilliant Uncirculated standard and comes in a presentation box, complete with a certificate of authenticity. The product is pre-owned but comes as pictured and is in excellent condition.

Only 349 of these BU coins were made, and each one contains 1 kilo of fine silver, graded at .999 purity..

The reverse side of the coin portrays the snake surrounded by eggs, as well as a coloured border. The obverse bears Queen Elizabeth II's head (as the head of state for Australia) and is the fourth official portrait - as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
