1/2 oz Silver Coin - 2015 Bald Eagle - Royal Canadian Mint - RCM .9999 Ag

This unusually sized coin is one of only a few fractional silver coins produced by the RCM. The coin features precisely machined radial lines on both sides of the coin as a security feature, just as used on the gold and silver maple leaf coins.

COIN HIGHLIGHTS

• Obverse: Features an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, her name and the legal tender value of the coin
• Reverse: Features the depiction of a bald eagle carrying a fish, the name of the country of the issue, the year of the release, and the metal weight, type and purity in English and French

The obverse features the Susanna Blunt effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, and the unusual denomination of two dollars.

The reverse showcases the largest of the birds of prey, a bald eagle, in flight carrying a salmon in it's talons. Tree branches share the foreground with the eagle. All of the writing on the reverse runs around the coin's rim in the area filled by the radial lines.
