Lunar Year of the Rabbit - 1 oz. Pure Silver Coin With Gold-Plating & Pearl Inlay (2023)

This 2023 $10 Lunar Year of the Rabbit coin is at the same time elegant and fanciful, combining multiple elements of art, fine silver, gold plating and a genuine pearl. The design features a pair of ornately patterned gold-plated rabbits beneath a spray of gilded blooms, with a gleaming freshwater pearl mounted between them. Additional bouquets flank the rabbits, as an array of auspicious clouds hover above. Stylized waves are rendered below the creatures, in recognition of water as the element associated with the rabbit for the year 2023. The inscription "Year of the Rabbit” curves overhead, with the date of issue below.

The coin is legal tender in Fiji and has a weight of one ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the Fiji coat-of-arms. The coin comes presented in a Chinese style red display case with a certificate of authenticity.
