• Canada’s 2023 collector’s edition non-circulation coins. Exceptionally for 2023, this set is a rare opportunity to see the classic Canadian coin designs you know and love, stamped with this year’s date (“2023”) in a non-circulation version. As we focus our attention on commemorating the reign of Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2022), the Mint will not be issuing any 2023-dated Canadian circulation coins featuring both the traditional reverse designs and an obverse featuring Queen Elizabeth II. Instead, we struck a limited collector’s edition for each of the six Canadian coin denominations ($2, $1, 50¢ (special edition), 25¢, 10¢, 5¢), and you get one of each in this special set.
