1/2 oz 2013 $10 Special Edition Year of the Snake - Pure Silver Coin

This specimen finish pure silver $10 coin celebrates the arrival of the Year of Snake.    Mintage is limited to 88,888.  As a pure silver coin, it is GST/HST exempt.  

The Design:

The design captures the true essence of the Snake’s personality: graceful and soft-spoken.  The coin incorporates a three-fold combination of different finishes. The design (relief or raised area) includes both brilliant and mirrored surfaces and the background (field) are striated using laser etching that results in a matte finish.
