1/4 oz 2013 $3 Fishing - Pure Silver Coin

This 2013 $3 denomination coin features a father, child and dog sitting on a dock with their feet dangling above the water waiting for the fish to bite. The coin weighs just over one quarter ounce of .9999 fine silver.  As a pure silver coin, it is exempt from GST or HST.

The Design:

The design is intended to bring back happy memories of quiet, simpler times of togetherness.  The back is engraved with the word “CANADA,” the date “2013” and the face value of “3 DOLLARS.” The finish of this coin is a reverse proof, using a brilliant finish design contrasting against a frosted field.
